KODEX AI / USE CASES

Four examples of AI in real business workflows.

These scenarios show where AI could assist a team and where people remain in control. They are illustrative designs, not completed client case studies or measured results.

Every deployment needs a discovery and validation phase. Actual integrations, response quality and outcomes depend on your data, tools and review process.

01

Example workflow

Customer support

Starting point

A customer asks about an order, account or service request.

Control points

Restrict customer data by role, redact unnecessary details and hand off when the answer is missing or uncertain.

Possible workflow

  1. Identify the question and retrieve the relevant policy or help article.
  2. Check authorized customer records when a live answer is needed.
  3. Draft a clear response with the facts used; route unusual cases to a person.

How to evaluate

Compare answer accuracy, time to first useful response, repeat contacts and escalation quality with the current process.

02

Example workflow

Operations coordination

Starting point

A request is waiting in an inbox while ownership or the next step is unclear.

Control points

Use existing access rules and approval gates for changes; keep a visible action history and a manual recovery path.

Possible workflow

  1. Read the request and classify its type and urgency.
  2. Suggest an owner, prepare system updates and identify missing information.
  3. Track the handoff and alert the team when work is blocked.

How to evaluate

Track routing accuracy, time waiting for assignment, overdue tasks and manual coordination effort.

03

Example workflow

Employee copilot

Starting point

A colleague needs a policy answer and help preparing a follow-up action.

Control points

Apply the employee's permissions; cite source documents and require confirmation before consequential actions.

Possible workflow

  1. Search the approved company knowledge and show the relevant source.
  2. Answer the question in context and ask for missing details.
  3. Prepare the requested action for review in an authorized tool.

How to evaluate

Check answer correctness, source relevance, task completion time and staff feedback.

04

Example workflow

Sales follow-up

Starting point

A new lead arrives or a scheduled follow-up is due.

Control points

Keep a human approval step before sending; prevent duplicate outreach and respect contact preferences.

Possible workflow

  1. Capture the inquiry and match it with the correct CRM record.
  2. Prepare a relevant response and a proposed next step.
  3. Present the draft and CRM changes for a salesperson to approve.

How to evaluate

Review response time, draft acceptance, CRM completeness and qualified conversations. No conversion uplift is assumed.

Before choosing a use case

Which workflow should we start with?

Pick one with frequent demand, accessible data, a clear owner and a measurable baseline. A bounded pilot is easier to evaluate than a broad promise to automate everything.

What happens when the AI is unsure?

The workflow should surface uncertainty, show its source information and route the request to a person instead of guessing or silently taking action.

Are the outcomes above guaranteed?

No. These are examples of what to measure. We would establish your current baseline and test the proposed workflow before making outcome claims.
